I’ve decided to cut my long locks a few weeks ago, and have I not regretted it once. The funny thing is that the hairdresser seemed to be more heartbroken about it than myself. A guaranteed question you’ll hear when you go from long to short hair, is:
(Sorry for being away for too long and not updating the blog, but all should be back to normal as of now.)
When I first wrote about moving out of my old place, I was kinda jokingly saying I might have to carry the sofa down 7 floors if the lift was not getting fixed soon. Never did I think it really would become the nightmare of my reality.
Here’s the story…
I’m sorry for not posting the past 2 weeks, but please let me explain. I haven’t been mucking around or anything, just, I’ve been crazy busy…painting.
To continue with my story from last week, the elevator is still broken, which means I still have to walk up 7 flights of stairs. I also bike to work, but since I cannot use the elevator, I have to leave my bike downstairs. There’s no secure bike shelter at my place, so I just lock my bike to the bars on the outside shed. It’s been sitting there every night for the past 3 weeks, but a few days ago it was GONE!
2 weeks ago, the elevator in my apartment building broke down, and it’s still not fixed yet…I live on the 7th floor.
I think most people have at least one piece of Ikea furniture somewhere in their house. I’m talking about the average household btw. I myself, I’m definitely an Ikea person. Ikea isn’t exactly cheap, it’s just more affordable than the average furniture shop, but there’s something else that works so well for Ikea; it’s fun.
So here’s the thing, I used to have short hair, just above my shoulder. Now, it’s about half-way along my back, and that took me about 1 year to grow (with a few trims in between). I guess I would say my hair doesn’t grow all that fast, which makes me feel a bit reluctant everytime I cut it.
