Youtube and Vinyl Records

I have a big announcement to make: I’m on Youtube!

Well, I mean I’ve just created my channel and uploaded my first video, it’s probably not THAT big of a deal. Actually, now that I think about it, it’s technically my second video on Youtube. The first video I ever posted, was way back in 2008, on an account I just cannot recall – and maybe for the better. It was a video I made using Windows Videomaker (HAHA) for the 2nd anniversary of one of my previous relationships. I remember Youtube actually pulled it offline because I used a Robin Thicke track, so I had to make it private. So there’s somewhere on the interwebs, a cheesy video of me floating around and I’ll probably never be able to retrieve it… I’m not sad about that.

I’ve been debating Youtube for a while now, but I never got around to actually doing it. Though I’m not sure what content I’ll be putting out, I think I might enjoy the occassional upload. Let’s not stress about it too much, shall we? If you guys are interested, the video is embeded below. Please give me some feedback, good or bad, I’ll take it all!

In other news, I also bought a Audio Technica turntable this week and it was worth every penny. There’s something so relaxing and enjoyable about listening to vinyl records. The complete experience of getting the record out and putting it on the turntable, the sound of the stylus when it touches the vinyl, and the initial 3 seconds coming out of the speakers. My god, it’s so satisfying. If you have an interest in this, I recommend getting a cheap turntable and start experiencing the joy this brings. Hope you had a great weekend!
