Look who we have here. Back from the dead it seems.
As you probably have noticed, I’ve been MIA (Missing In Action). Or what I’d like to call: a hiatus. It just sounds nicer. So you must be wondering what I’ve been up to? And why I haven’t been doodling?
To make things easier, I have made a little doodle below to explain. I might not have been active on this site, but I haven’t been sitting on my bum either. So let me walk you through it:
- Moving house
If you remember I was talking about moving into a new place back in May, and that has been taking up a large part of my time. The renovation works only finished in July and during August I have been back and forth decorating the place and making it my ideal bachelorette pad. Euhm, yes, still single.
Not sure if I have shared this with you yet, but I work as a manager at Subway. Yes, the sandwich shop. And not that it has been taken up more of my time or anything, but I’ve been given other shifts and it just made me feel less productive. All I want to do after work is to watch dramas and chill my brain.
I’ve announced a while back that I’ve started a Youtube channel, and guess what! it’s still there. I’ve been posting new videos and I want to keep doing it somewhat on a regular basis. See how that goes. So if you want to check it out, click here.
- Another blog
I started 365doodlingdays because I wanted to improve my drawing skills, and since it wasn’t something I was good at naturally, I found myself slacking at times. But I always loved writing and honestly sometimes I just wanted to write without having to spend time drawing something. So I’ve started blogging on missionplanb.com. It’s a place for the more serious things in my life. If you prefer a lighter version, then please stay put.
I’m just kidding, there’s no such thing in my life. I do however have something to tell you, but I’ll save that for another post.
- Friends and family
I attended my close friend’s wedding back in August, and I flew over to Melbourne for a few days. She’s the only person I know from my childhood here in Australia and I haven’t seen her in over 5 years. It was such a fun time, and it made me think whether or not I should move to Melbourne someday.
And not too long ago my sister Lily visited me from Belgium. We’ve always been very close and we’ve never been apart for long, but I haven’t seen her for 2 years and it was so good to finally catch up. It even made me cry a little when she left.
- The gym
I’ve always been running outside in parks or on the streets, but it’s getting way too hot here in Perth. I would be a baked potato after 10 minutes. So, after some convincing from my gym friends, I’ve signed up. I’ve mostly been running on the treadmill and it’s going pretty well. I’m hoping to hit the 10k mark soon.
And of course this list wouldn’t be complete without some k-drama, hihi.
So that’s been pretty much it. I would like to ask, you, my loyal followers for forgiveness and I’m sorry I’ve been slacking. I can’t promise we’ll be going steady, but at least we can be Friends with Benefits? If you feel like it, stop by and see what I’ve been up to. Who knows, I might not disappoint 😉
Thank you for reading this rather long post, and I hope I will see you in another one (very) soon!
