I’ve decided to cut my long locks a few weeks ago, and have I not regretted it once. The funny thing is that the hairdresser seemed to be more heartbroken about it than myself. A guaranteed question you’ll hear when you go from long to short hair, is:
I’m sorry for not posting the past 2 weeks, but please let me explain. I haven’t been mucking around or anything, just, I’ve been crazy busy…painting.
To continue with my story from last week, the elevator is still broken, which means I still have to walk up 7 flights of stairs. I also bike to work, but since I cannot use the elevator, I have to leave my bike downstairs. There’s no secure bike shelter at my place, so I just lock my bike to the bars on the outside shed. It’s been sitting there every night for the past 3 weeks, but a few days ago it was GONE!
2 weeks ago, the elevator in my apartment building broke down, and it’s still not fixed yet…I live on the 7th floor.
I think most people have at least one piece of Ikea furniture somewhere in their house. I’m talking about the average household btw. I myself, I’m definitely an Ikea person. Ikea isn’t exactly cheap, it’s just more affordable than the average furniture shop, but there’s something else that works so well for Ikea; it’s fun.
I have a Belgian driver’s license ever since I was 19, but I pretty much stopped driving since I moved to Australia. People drive on the left here, whereas I’m used to driving on the right, which seriously, still messes me up at times. I figured it’s safer for me to stick to public transport and walking, or the occassional bike ride. So that’s why I have been procastinating the idea of getting an Australian license.
But it’s sooo much fun!
I’m not a gambler, I don’t even buy lottery tickets, but once in a while I do dare to have fun at the casino. The maximum I’ve ever lost was, I believe $20. The most I’ve won, was about $250.
